The Hayloft has some exceptional history. It was in this barn that farmers from the local area gathered at night to plan resistance to unfair taxation as part of the Rebekah Riots. It's a little more peaceful now, but maybe you can plan your own life revolution while you take time out here.

Cosy - We have put lots of thought into creating a quiet and cosy environment. Both barns are stocked with distinctive furnishings, a wood burner with free wood, very comfortable beds, and fully equipped kitchens
Accessible - Both barns and the Studio have been converted to cater for disabilities. We know that everyone's needs are different. We will work to adapt the space to make it as accessible, and comfortable as possible. Visit our website to find out more

We stayed here to celebrate my Mum’s 90th birthday. We chose it as it has great disability access and adaptations for her , she felt safe as had a ramp into the cottage and we could borrow a wheelchair for her when we went out . The Hayloft was so comfortable, quiet and cosy . Having a log burner really added to the ambiance . We could sit outside on the patio - in the short burst of sunshine between the rain - with lovely views across the fields and trees.
Lois was a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more accommodating and was lovely to chat with . Highly recommended and I would stay again

We had a lovely stay in the Hayloft, which was full of character, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to navigate.
The Hayloft was situated in a very peaceful and tranquil area, tucked away from any roads.
Lois was friendly and approachable.
We will definitely be returning.

We had an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay at Hayloft cottage. Lois was fantastic with all communication from the moment I booked. Lois also kindly provided some additional equipment for the bathroom so my elderly Mum felt very safe in the wet room and there was a ramp waiting to help her in to the cottage as well. The location is stunning, and in easy driving distance to beautiful places to explore. I would highly recommend staying here and am already thinking about when we can make a return visit. An absolute 10/10
